Could you be an Interconnect Student Champion?

Interconnect: the network for women studying science, engineering, technology and the built environment in Scotland is looking to recruit student champions at colleges and universities the project is working with. The student champions will help promote and develop Interconnect activities locally and may work with staff locally to achieve this. Student Champions will also be members of the Student Champions Group.

As members of this group you will have responsibility for promoting Interconnect at your college or university, seeking out student opinion to help with the development process and advising on the development of the Interconnect Network (everything from events and marketing to our online presence and strategy).

Interconnect is part of the Scottish Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (SRC). This Centre is part of Edinburgh Napier University, within the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Creative Industries.

We are keen to get people involved from across the country, so the work will be mainly at your institution and online. We will also meet up twice a year and travel expenses will be covered.

If you are currently studying science, engineering, technology or the built environment at college or university and are motivated, enthusiastic and believe in the aims of Interconnect, then we would love to hear from you.

Closing Date: 10th December, 2010
