What Employers Want with ExxonMobil
This semester, Interconnect teamed up again with ExxonMobil to host a ‘What Employers Want' workshop for 18 engineering students. Held at the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce offices, the event brought together students from three Scottish Universities with a view to helping them prepare for the transition from education to employment.
Feedback from everyone was very positive, with participants commenting that the event had been informative, worthwhile and interesting. We hope to hold similar events for different sectors in the new year, so keep an eye on the Interconnect website for more. Thanks to Lynda Wilson from ExxonMobil and to everyone who came along.
Have a Happy Holiday
We are finishing up soon for the Christmas Holidays, so I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a happy time over the holidays and best wishes for 2012. And good luck for any of you studying for exams!
