First of all, let me introduce myself, my name is Jordan Batty and I’m a third year Chemical Engineering Student.

I decided to start up this group after attending an Interconnect event especially for women, because I realised that every other time I had been to networking events or professional lectures, all I saw were males! I want to see more women in Science and its related industries!

Interconnect is a place for women studying Science, Engineering, Technology or the Built Environment to meet other students in their subject area, meet inspiring females already working in industry, improve their CV, and generally have a bit of fun!
